Space Debates Round 3
Impromptu
We were against st nics
Prep was quite horrible
thus resulting in a screwed case
speaker roles were terrible too.
actually only mine.
i was 1st prop.
how bad can that get?
gosh.
but im quite glad for the fact
that i managed to crap for 8 mins.
less L&Gs
yuankheng and suz did okay too.
i know the whole team is feeling bad
but come on cheer up!
maybe some may think we dun deserve it,
but the adjudicator gave it to us.
St nics was good too.
but u know by keep saying
"Save Lives"
is not going to win them the debate.
Their speakers were good
Sarah Yip well deserve the best spkr,
if not for suz.
It was kinda shocking
that we made it to the quarters.
i thought only the top 4 did.
so when lis told me,
i was quite stunned
Tears or Smiles?
i really don't know.
All i know is we have to buck-up.
we're against acjc again.
i know the possibilities of winning are slim
but we still have to TRY.
worse still,
yk is not going to be ard.
leaving me to DIE alone.
hmph.
The chalet was pretty nice.
thanks lis' mum for giving me a ride.
The barbecued food was simply delicious
i kept stuffing myself.
im going on a binge
think i'll put on like 5kg after this.
hahahahas.
Anyway,
sometimes my sister is right.
There are wins and losses in life.
In Debates, there are even more.
Winning is important,
but not as impt as learning smtg frm it
While losing is saddening,
the impetus to strive harder and improve is much GREATER.
So cheer up team,
we've got a long way ahead of us.
