the goal we all worked hard towards
the happy ending we all desire
all shattered overnight

we trained for many days
perhaps even worked through the night
but the million dreams faded away

disappointment, depression sank in
but i gave thanks
for my beloved team & wonderful coaches

we worked so hard together
had fun at bowling, meals & sleepovers
it's something no other team could have

so what if we didn't make it to semis,
we grew to be a much stronger team
we grew nearer the sky

it rained heavily after our second db8
the one we cried TOGETHER
i guess it's a sign of the promise

the promise to stick together
no matter what happens
and to remain lydjk forever

after the rain the sun
we picked ourselves from a failure
never to give up till the very end

we knew we couldn't break
so what?
we still gave it a shot.

we won the last round
we didn't break
but we had so much fun after hwa chongs

lydjk squeezing to jon's car
singing silly songs
playing and teasing each other

we weren't in the least upset
cos we knew we have each other
there for us forever

xuwen and jon treated us
we DRAGGED them to take neoprints
at least we had fun:)

winning isn't everything
losing a debate isn't everything
but what's more impt is a team u love.

So what if a team broke?
but they're quarrelling,blaming each other?
would winning compensate for a weak team spirit?

I knew i would cry
the day's gonna come soon
i just know it

u've been a wonderful team mate
absolutely talented, smart, brilliant
u do not suck AT ALL

i hate to face to the day u leave sc
dread the day when u leave lydjk
we'll never forget u lis.

we know u'll be there for us
mentally a team bonded
physically u'll come support us!

but still,
i must be selfish and say,
i don't want u to leave.

i cherish this special bond we have
i love our coaches
lydjk nearer the sky.
