Open House Yesterday.
it was fabulous!
hahah. much better than last year:)
Debated on topics that parents gave us. such as taiwan's policy on liberalising school rules, why must we study algebra, shld sCgs have a Chinese Orchestra, shld we go neighbourhood schs or renowned schs, harry potter and of course TWICE on presidential elections. we nearly died for that one cos we know nuts abt it. ha! but yk saves the day! hahahah!
Anyway, we had lots of fun playing, dancing and singing in the LT. looking at photos, listening to music and just pure fellowship with each other. UNTIL the parents step in. (which is practically most of the time) And they keep walking in, so we NEVER had a proper rest or lunch.
fifi was proud of us though. haha. that's a rare one. She even made comments on our photos and pictures! haha! she must be in a good mood then.
Oh yes. Not forgetting "perm your hair purple!" yk's new invention. then kristi pois her "i believe u need some dye mdm." and lis made up a song for it! hahah! we even choreographed our rain dance! lol. this is called MAD & TALENTED debaters.
perm your hair purple
perm your hair pink
you'll look so fabulous
you'll wanna sing
hey, hey, hey
After that we FINALLY had our lunch at 5pm. more like dinner though. We shared strawberries at Mos burger. hahaha. I think the person probably thought we were mad cos we ate so many. 18 i think. it's mainly cos of lis, dan & i. hahah. oops. then we stacked everything up with the saucer containing chilli on the top! ta da! our LYDJK pyramid!
i love my team.
i really do.
LYDJK. nearer the sky.
Sunday: a typical routine. going to children's church, arrange the name tags, service, bs/worship practice, go home, slack, mug. But today, i was surprised by what happened during children's church sermon.
Pst May Eng or who i refer to as Tr May Eng from young. She has always been a wonderful role model for me. She used me as an example for her sermon, and she said i was mentioned in the bible. Intially i really thought she meant my name appeared literally. But of course it was much more than that. It was about a faithful steward. Then she played a song that touched the kids' and the teachers' hearts. And she prayed for each and everyone of the teachers and kids. She really made my day special. She's always so sensitive, attentive to every need and i love her for that.
Then there was this new boy in my class called David. I had to take care of him while his aunty and his brother had not finished. And he kept running away from me! hmph. He was testing my limits. After a while, i kinda gave up chasing him and i told him to wait for his much more SENSIBLE brother, jonathan. yups. so much for brothers being alike.
okay. time to get back to mugging.
i procrastinate too much.
