yesterday was a fantastic day!
it was children's church outing!
brought the p3s & p4s with some other teachers.

Off we went to sentosa with abt 10 kids
i ended up the game master of the day.
played dog & bone, wacko, etc.
had some breaks in between and took the beach trams.

We crossed the suspension bridge to the other islet and had some sightseeing.
it's always nice to just stand there and have a bird's eye view of everything and just take a rest. By just standing there and the wind blowing past, it's a feeling that enables me to just allow the wind to blow away all my worries.

anyway, met some pple there too. haha.

then we settled down and played softball. had some problems teaching them but they still had fun:)

it started pouring really heavily as we were waiting for the bus back. And the interesting thing was that, aunty may eng was saying it would be very short. And 2 minutes later, it stopped. amazing huh? hahaha. daniel was like "that was very short!" went back to church and rested.

had our bbq in church. it's just nice to have a lovely teachers' retreat while the parents are eating in front. haha. we had our bit of fun experimenting on the food:) imagine honey/marshmellow/chocolate/ strawberry sauce on chicken wings. sounds disgusting huh? but it's really good. celebrated jing yi's birthday after that.

had a wonderful time with both the kids and the teachers. but i still rather a camp. hahah. God is good:)

today! im damn suay. like lis says, we're a bunch of suay pple. had to send my nephew to school which means i would be late for training.

1) couldn't get a cab at his school cos it was so isolated.

2) so i took a bus back to take a cab at my hse. guess wat? there was no freaking cabs.

3) they were all "on call", hired, changing shifts or taken by someone else.

4) guess wat? i tried to call a cab after waiting for half an hour. And there was no cabs for them to dispatch to me! that was how suay i am.

5) gave up and took a bus to school. and while i was waiting, i saw an EMPTY cab heading to where i was waiting for a cab but i was too far to take it. :(

went for lunch and then sat at coffee bean for a drink. dear yk had to go to the toilet so i accompanied her.

Level 1: too crowded
Level 2: closed for washing
Level 3: closed.

so suay! We took a long time just to find a toilet, meeting someone familiar on the way and then finally going back for our coffee. eeyer. so troublesome. oh well.

dan & i went mad at the toys fair at taka. haha. we were like "let's watch the sesame street show!" hahah. we're childhood deprived.
