yesterday: liyun's birthday! so sarah, liyun, jo & i decided on ice-skating. we thought it was pretty empty UNTIL we saw the public area. It was freaking crowded. you can barely move there! okay so off we went for our lunch at pizza hut with sarah entertaining us with her lame jokes. yups. after deliberating, we thought the crowd probably subsided and went to check out the rink again. And it did subside to a level that you can actually skate properly. But to our horror, it was gonna be closed at 430. haha.

so we decided to go jo's hse for bowling. it was so nice! we had the whole alley to ourselves cos there;s only 2 lanes. haha. so we had the liberty to do anything. im so proud of myself. haha. by a stroke of luck, i got 112 with a few strikes and spares! haha. but the other games got worse:) 88, then 60. haha. that was one lane. the second lane was used for random play. So we were trying different methods. rolling, using 2 bowls after the other, etc. And i was just playing and i got a strike then a spare under liyun's name, and 2 strikes under sarah's name at the same time! hmph. don't seem to have that kind of luck when i play under my name:( nevertheless, we had lots of fun. thanks jo!

After that, we went to liyun's grandma's hse to celebrate her birthday. emt xueyuan on the way and we invited her for christmas! Liyun had a nice ice-cream cake accompanied by 4 cups of dry ice ard it. haha. and there was this cone stuck on top and it got burnt by the flame on the candles! Anyway had a great time.

Today: met beulah to buy christmas presents. haha. and off we went to the mango sale. And of all places, we chose the most crowded, taka. okay. it was so chaotic! you could see pple trying on clothes and huge bags of unwanted clothes lying there. And that beulah li had so much trouble looking for her sis's and mum's! haha. but we survived it in one hour, buying a top for her sis and for myself. ha!

then we walked ard, she dragged me and i dragged her finding christmas presents for different pple. we walked round and round, meeting mainly her friends thankfully, and then jev came. yups. i still need to buy more gifts. nights everyone!
