im totally exhasted after 2 days.
These 2 days have been awfully hectic.

Day 1 of CNY: went to church in the morning.. took care of mishael, my baby nephew, through the entire service. yes i can't believe I survived it. haha. anyway after service, went to my grandma's hse to "bai nian." rushed to many different houses too. The weird experience i had was that some pple could barely recognise me since we meet once in a year.

that kind of scenario was really common.

me: byebye 4th uncle(in hokkien)
4th uncle: byee. (turns and ask my mum) who's that girl?

hahaha! my mum even joked that she shld have said my brother's girlfriend. yea right. as if he'll believe.

another weird instance in the car..

3rd uncle: dennis, your sister's very quiet. self centered is it?
me: (gives weird stares)
bro: no lah. maybe introverted.
me: (thinking)
3rd aunt: it's okay wat. shawn also like that.
bro: it's probably due to familarity.
3rd uncle: you and your sis is like shawn and sarah. barely talk to each other.
bro: huh? erm. ya.

actually he has no idea that i do talk a lot to my cousins and my siblings. just quieter to my uncles/aunties cos of generation gap! hah!

lots of qns on o'levels and wat jc i wanna go too. and the typical catchphrase.. "you've grown so big already! the last time i saw you, you were so small!" or "you've changed so much!" etc. yups. went home at 12.

Day 2 of CNY: went pastors' houses visiting! went to my sister's place which is kinda weird but my bro-in-law and her are pastors. yea. had a good time feasting on my mum's food. haha. eddie and gene actually misunderstood and went to pst geoffrey's hse first! so they missed out on my mum's cooked food.hahaha. Anyway the house was really packed and cramped cos there were so many pple!

Headed for pst geoffrey's hse after that. we were pretty full after that so had a couple of drinks and snacks. got really bored and even played with christie who's from my pri 1 class. haha. Teacher-Child bonding session! ahhahh. had some mind boggling riddles and went to pst may eng's hse.

At pastor may eng's house, there was a serene, tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. Partly because most pple left already. it was like josh and i were the only cc teachers in the end! but there were other adults, so not too bad. was stuffed with LOTS & LOTS of food. ate steamboat and spaghetti, dessert, ice-cream and wine. haha. im gonna work out to get rid of the fat. been binging so much!

i had 3 steamboat sessions these few days. pst geoffrey's hse, my own family reunion dinner & at pst may eng's hse. ate my mother's curry for 3 days. one on day 1, my sis's hse and tonight. oh man. it's okay. all fats belong to God! hahaa!

Anyway im really exhasted. shall finish some work later. i have this WHOLE HEAP of homework awaiting me to do.
