December’s here and it’s a month away from an entire new school and campus.

Memories flood

The 10 years in sc has been an amazing journey filled with love, joy, craziness, bitterness and tears.

The many faces we see, the acquaintances we make, the teachers who encourage, and most of all a bunch of crazy friends that never fail to make me love scgs even more each day.

The infrastructure;
-shaw hall where we took the last examinations in sc and also where we graduated.
-amphitheatre where we used to queue up after recess in primary school, spirit of the class comp, and of course the place where we would just await the time for exams.
-canteen. Who could ever forget the famous meepok man? But unfortunately he passed away just weeks ago. It’s so sad that once we leave, many things/people leave sc with us. It is here where the mornings are spent studying, doing last minute homework and having breakfast.
-courtyard; where we used to run and play catching immediately after recess regardless of our parents’ warnings of appendicitis.
-classrooms, where the most beautiful memories lay. The never ending lectures, discussions, gossip sessions, etc.
-litlang room, aka the assumed debate room(:

The principal/teachers;
- Ms Heng, unfortunately she’s retiring this year too. She’s been my one and only principal!
- Mrs Phuah, our vp. She has also unfortunately retired.
- Mrs Wang! She’s the dearest and most encouraging form teacher of 4GR 2006(:
- Mrs Chan, she’s been such a motherly figure though she’s been under so much stress and her actions may have angered many, but she’s still a dear.
- The Chinese teachers! Jiang hao hua yu!
- Mrs choo/ logan who has been an utmost inspirational figure of chemistry.
- Mrs cha and her unceasing patience and encouragements(;
- Mrs lim and her belief in me that I can do amath and I sure hope I don’t disappoint her in the o’s!
- The pe department: mrs bowness, mr ang, mrs lee, they’ve been wonderful.
- Mrs Jacqueline yeo who’s been such a fierce yet sweet and the most sarcastic teacher I’ve seen.
- Mrs FTan and Mrs Quek who never fail to fill the debaters with lots of food during training;p

- estelle, who’s been my really good friend in primary school.

- Val! who’s certainly brought joy with her taitai mannerisms.

- Rachael who’s been a fantastic partner for 2006. haha
